X-ray Technology Detects Foreign Objects, Other Product and Packaging Issues

X-ray inspection is expected to accurately detect and reject product containing foreign objects such as metal, plastic, and glass. But Ishida IX-GA X-ray technology can further enhance a food processor's product safety program by detecting imperfections unrelated to contamination. The IX-GA system can identify and reject packages with broken or missing product pieces, detect product caught in packaging seals, or verify that your product’s weight and size meet specifications.

Ishida X-ray system setup is automatic and requires no routine calibration. Machine warm-up takes only 90 seconds for quick production start-ups. Stainless steel construction conforms to HACCP regulations. The waterproof conveyor is designed to IP66 and is easily removed without using tools. Models are also available for washdown and large-carton applications.
