The first-ever “Tackling FSMA Compliance” Tech Talk taking place on March 31 will feature some of the top names in the food safety industry.

Presented by SafetyChain Software, guest speakers will include Nye Hardy (director of food safety at Dole Fresh Vegetables) and Melanie Neumann (executive vice president and chief financial officer at The Acheson Group). The talk will focus on how technology plays a role in preparing to comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

The talk--which will be a segment of SafetyChain’s popular FSMA weekly series--is a webinar that will include topics such as Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points-to-Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Control migration, FSMA reporting and challenges, and supply chain controls. The panel will also take questions from the live audience of attendees.

"Preparing for FSMA compliance is a major concern for today's food safety and regulatory teams. But one thing experts agree on -- leveraging food safety automation technologies will play a key role in being FSMA ready," says Barbara Levin, senior vice president and co-founder of SafetyChain Software. "SafetyChain has been the leader in FSMA education with our popular FSMA Fridays series.  We look forward to leading the discussion on technology with our new Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Tech Talk Series and are thrilled to be joined by industry leaders, Nye Hardy and Melanie Neumann, to kick off our first Tech Talk on March 31."
