Heat and Control has introduced its line of CEIA Multi-Spectrum metal detectors that eliminate false rejects caused by product effects, which occur when conductive elements in foods (such as iron, moisture or salt) alter the electromagnetic field of a metal detector. These detectors maintain the highest level of sensitivity for all metal contaminants, including 316 stainless steel.
