High-Pressure Processing

Avure Technologies has unveiled the new QFP 525L-600, currently the largest-volume, high-pressure processing (HPP) system available. HPP uses ultrahigh pressure instead of heat to inactivate foodborne pathogens and spoilage organisms in such foods as raw and ready-to-eat meats and salads, fresh fruit and vegetable beverages and seafood.
