The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 76 million Americans suffer from foodborne illness each year, with over 300,000 hospitalizations and 5,000 deaths. Cross-contamination plays a big role in these statistics, wherein uncontaminated food items come into contact with contaminated food items or their residues, quite often on an improperly cleaned preparation surface: the cutting board. Cut & Toss single-use disposable cutting boards help alleviate the dangers of cross-contamination by providing a pristine single-use surface for each food preparation task. Poly-coated paperboards are available in four sizes for home to commercial kitchen applications.
