General Mills Adds ABC Laboratories to Its Approved Lab List

ABC Research Laboratories yesterday announced its acceptance as a General Mills Approved Laboratory. One of the world’s largest food companies, General Mills bestows this honor only upon food testing laboratories that follow the strictest standards and best practices for food safety and quality testing.

As a member of the GMI Pesticide Multi-Residue Analysis (MRA) Approved Lab list, ABC Research will be noted as a preferred testing laboratory for any of the multiple vendors that provide ingredients for General Mills’ 89 individual brands.

“As an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, we follow the strictest standards to ensure each of our clients receives the most accurate results through the best recognized practices in testing," said Gillian Dagan, chief scientific officer at ABC Research. "After the rigorous application process with General Mills, we are honored to have those practices recognized as we continue to improve our services to our clients.”

The GMI Pesticide Multi-Residue Analysis MRA Approved Lab list is a private list available only to General Mills’ suppliers, but confirmation is available upon individual request.
