Hygiena has introduced the SystemSure Plus, an upgraded palm-sized measuring device that is meant to be used with its Aquasnap and Ultrasnap testing systems. The SystemSure Plus measures adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a universal energy molecule found in all animal, plant, bacteria, yeast, and mold cells, and provides a rapid digital readout indicating the level of ATP found on food-processing surfaces. The higher the reading, the more contamination is present. ATP hygiene monitoring delivers accurate and traceable verification of the cleanliness of a surface or water, and provides rapid warning of contaminated water or inadequate hygenic routines.
